How To Enter
Entry is open to the whole of the UK chemical Industry and companies that provide services to the chemical industry as appropriate for each particular award.
Nominations should be submitted electronically on the appropriate nomination form and sent to Mike Lancaster at LancasterM@cia.org.uk no later than 26 March 2010.

The 2010 Awards categories reflect the pace of change in the industry towards enhancement of its global competitiveness and sustainability.
The 2010 Awards categories are:
- ABB Manufacturing & Resource Efficiency Award
- CIA Company of the Year Sponsored by Headline Sponsor Haden Freeman
- EDF Energy Low Carbon Award
- Excellence in Engineering Award sponsored by BIS Industrial Services
- Innovation Award sponsored by GSK
- Dow Reputation Award
- INEOS Responsible Care Award
- Special Responsible Care Award for Process Safety Leadership Sponsored by Shell UK
- Skills Alliance for the Process Industries Award
- Environmental Leadership Award sponsored by Johnson Matthey
- REACH Service Provider Award sponsored by REACHReady
- BASF Young Ambassador Award
There is no single Award for Sustainable Development. However entries in each category will be diligently assessed according to contribution and adherence to the CIA Guiding Principles to Sustainable Development.
All entries will be judged by a panel of experts, with short-listed candidates being subjected to a more extensive judging process, in some cases involving a site visit, interview or presentation. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 7 May 2010.
